Long before we found Charlton Lake Camp,
we knew we wanted something different.
We both loved the outdoors and dreamed of a simpler life — one that would allow us to spend more time together, work toward common goals, and enjoy the kind of lifestyle we had always loved.
After looking at several properties, our real estate agent suggested one more.
It was a chilly October day when we first drove down the road toward Charlton Lake Camp. As we reached the high point overlooking the lake and surrounding hills, we knew this place was special.
And when we finally arrived, we were sold.
The mountains, the lake, the beautiful grounds, and the comfortable home all seemed to come together in a way we hadn’t found anywhere else. Although the camp is technically water access, the boat ride from the private parking area takes only about a minute. It offered something that seemed almost impossible to find — the peace and privacy of island life with the convenience of having your vehicle close by whenever you needed it.
I can sure live here.
It turned out to be one of the best decisions we ever made.
Owning Charlton Lake Camp allowed us to build a life together, slow down, and embrace a different pace of life. Along the way, neighbours and guests became friends, and we discovered a wonderful sense of community that made us feel at home from the very beginning.
